The Palmetto Princess Program is designed for young ladies five to 16 years of age. The program
allows young ladies to be involved with the Miss South Carolina Pageant before they reach
competition age and to see the Miss America Organization from a whole new light as well as to serve
with wonderful role models and mentors from throughout the State of South Carolina.
The Palmetto Prince Program is designed for young gentlemen, ages five to 12. The program
encourages them to respect, honor, and support young ladies and women in our society. It teaches
the importance of etiquette, common courtesy, table manners, and self-esteem.
Palmetto Princesses and Palmetto Princes not only have an exciting opportunity to be mentored
during the year by Miss Greater Greer and Miss Greater Greer Teen, they also participate in the Miss
South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen production numbers during the week of competition in
July of each year.
